Lessons
Tammy teaches private and group lessons for children and adults at her studio in Wisconsin, as well at a variety of local schools and the homes of local students and on campus of University of WI - Oshkosh. She offers in-person, online and remote lessons, as well as harp rentals, group lessons, coaching and studio sessions.
No previous musical training is required for students to start lessons. Tammy offers both lever and pedal harps as well as keyboards for rent to her students. She teaches all music styles, specializing in classical, pop, improv and worship music, and offers recitals, ensemble playing and performance and recording opportunities for her students, as well as musical field trips, group lessons, workshops and masterclasses.
For students who love music and are seeking a career in this diverse and challenging field, Tammy teaches all from studio to stage and beyond. She holds a BA in Music Business and has been teaching since 1994, and in 2015 accepted a faculty position as harp instructor at University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, where Tammy has developed a harp performance degree.
